“Woman From London” brings back one of my fondest memories from my favorite city. After arriving in London for my first extended stay, I wandered into a tiny shop tucked between a vintage store and a florist in Notting Hill. That’s the only landmark I can give you, the shop doesn’t even show up on Google Maps.
A bell chimed as I stepped through the door, and the warm scent of freshly baked croissants wrapped around me. Inside, the space was full of locals catching up with friends over afternoon tea. I made my way to the counter and ordered my usual (an oat milk cappuccino) and in that moment, I knew: this was going to be my spot in London.
Oil on canvas.

Framed in a chocolate pine frame.
